First Friday Art Walks — Art District on Santa Fe

The First Friday Art Walks are the signature event of Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe — every first Friday of the month, rain or shine, from 5:30–9:30 PM.

Thousands gather on Santa Fe Drive to view art from hundreds of artists in galleries, studios, co-ops, alleys, and on the street. The district spans 13th Avenue to Alameda and Kalamath to Inca, with the bulk of galleries walkable between 5th and 11th Avenues.

Getting there

• Light Rail: 10th & Osage station
• First Friday parking (5:30–9:30 PM only): RPS/Adco General (801 Kalamath), West High School ($5), Su Teatro (Santa Fe & 2nd)
• Ride share and public transit encouraged — traffic is heavy

Outdoor vendor markets resume in May 2026. August First Friday includes a special Santa Fe Drive street closure from 7th through 12th Avenue.
